Manu
Manu Wildlife Centre
Manu Wildlife Centre is located in the remote Manu Wilderness amidst spectacular forest, incredible scenery, and an unparalleled density and diversity of animal and plant species. Manu Lodge
Manu Lodge is the only lodge offering all inclusive services within the Manu Park itself. Since there are no roads near or inside the protected Manu lowlands, the river is the only access. The Manu Lodge is constructed entirely of fine mahogany cut from logs left on the beaches of the Manu by the annual January-March floods. This attractive lodge is elevated on reinforced stilts and includes spacious double rooms with magnificent vistas of the lake nearby, with a spacious bar, meeting area and dining room. Iquitos
Muyuna
This small, relaxed and remote lodge can only be reached by boat on the Amazon River. Wooden stilted buildings with palm thatched roofs perch on the water and are connected by raised boardwalks. The 2, 3, 4 or 6 bed bungalows can host up to 48 people. With private bathrooms and showers, the rustic bungalows are lit by kerosene lamps and screened by mosquito netting, creating an intimate feel that is also extremely practical. Private terraces overlook the river and the spectacular jungle sunsets. The lodge also provides good food for its guests.
Ceiba Tops
This luxury rainforest lodge offers 72 well-appointed rooms with air conditioning and spacious bathrooms with hot water situated amongst beautifully manicured gardens. Each room has a view of the pool, the rainforest or the river. Situated on the Amazon River near to the world's longest canopy walkway, the lodge can organize many activities such as birdwatching or visiting a local community for guests. Explorama Lodge
Explorama Lodge is set deep in primary rainforest and offers romantic palm thatched houses with 10-17 private sleeping rooms, gently illuminated by kerosene torches and lamps. Covered connecting walkways lead to the Tahuampa Bar, the dining room, the sun porch and two hammock houses. Showers & toilet facilities adjoin each house. A variety of treks and activities are offered, including the Seven Bridges Trail walk.

Climate
Peru's position near to the equator means that it can be visited all year round. The peak tourist season is from June to August, which is the dry season in the highlands, and this is the best time to go if you're interested in hiking. The rainy season runs from November to March, when the major sites like Macchu Picchu are less crowded and many of the major fiestas occur.
On the coast, Peruvians visit the beaches during the sunny months from late December through March. The rest of the year, the coast is clothed in mist although rain is rare. In the eastern rainforests, it naturally rains a lot with the wettest months being December through April.
