Chile's huge geographical variety means that a visit is rewarding in any season, depending on where you go. The North, Santiago and Central Chile can be visited all year round though especially delightful in spring (Sept-ember through November) or during the autumn (late February into April).
The Lakes are most popular in summer (December through March). Patagonia has a changeable climate and the far south has a very inclement winter (June to August).
